More people have died from heart disease in the last 10 years collectively than the total sum of all the combat deaths in the history of all wars that has ever been fought in the United States since 1785. In fact, of cardiac arrests that occur each year in U.S.  hospitals, only 24 percent of those patients survive.

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, there were 37,133 deaths from motor vehicle crashes in 2017. According to Federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) More than 1,800 women were murdered by men in 2016. In addition, the total Worldwide American Deaths from Terrorist Attacks from1995 – 2016 was 3,658.

There are over 18,000 Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies around the United States, with an estimated 750,000 and 850,000 sworn officers. If you count non-sworn personnel who work for police departments, you get over 1 million. Plus, there were a total of 1.3 million active duty military and more than 800,000 reserve forces as of September 2017, according to Defense Department personnel data.

So, let’s run the numbers; car accidents 37,133 in 2017, women being murdered 1,800 in 2017, terrorist attacks 3,658 from 1995 – 2016 which equals a total of 42, 591 total deaths for these three issues. A shocking 18 times more people died in 2011 from heart disease (787,000) than women who were murdered in 2017, combined with fatal car accidents in 2017 along with all Americans killed by terrorist from 1995 to 2016 worldwide. Collectively, let’s also include all the combats deaths from the history of all Americans Wars to that number and you would still have more people who died in 2011 from heart disease. In fact, we would need to kill the entire population in Vatican City,(1000), the population of the country of Monaco (37,863), The entire population of St. Augustine Florida, (13,00) and we would still need to go up to Walla Walla Washington and kill all 32,148 of their residents… And still, we would need to find 2,800 more people to kill in order to have more people who died from heart disease in 2011. When you add the 1.3 million active duty U.S. military to the additional reserve force of over 800,000 combined with the total 750,000 law enforcement officers you get a defense force of approximately 2,850,000 personnel. That is an impressive defensive force.
